Kru Aum is a yoga teacher that is accredited by the World Yoga Alliance. She lives and breathes yoga and specializes in Yin Yoga from the Heart of Yin. Moreover, she is passionate about Asana meditation and Pranayama breathing techniques and will be conducting specialized yoga classes that include Vinyasa, Yin, and Hatha yoga at HOMA’s yoga studio.

The different types of yoga explained;

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa is a style of yoga that is practiced by linking conscious breath with dynamic fluid movements imitating a dance-like technique. This is done through the practice of several yoga postures all at once by linking from a sequence that flows together.

Yin Yoga

Yin is a slower-paced style of yoga that emphasizes meditativeness. Unlike Vinyasa, Yin focuses on holding poses for a longer period of time, typically from 3 to 5 minutes. This is done to primarily target the connective tissues such as the ligaments rather than focusing on the muscles.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha is more delicate when compared to Vinyasa and more physically demanding than Yin yoga. This type of yoga is perfect for both beginners and advanced students as it encourages the practitioner to obtain an open mind and a deeper sense of self-awareness.

When do the classes start?

From Tuesday 24 May onward, Kru Aum will be practicing at our very own HOMA yoga studio four times a week teaching the three different yoga disciplines mentioned above. During the first week (from Tuesday 24 May to Saturday 28 May), HOMA offers complimentary classes free of charge to our guests. Subsequently, from the second week, the joining fee is THB 200/person.
