Begin

Our Begin Program has been designed to help people take the first step on their yoga journey with personalised support. It offers an introduction to the key philosophical concepts and the mental science around yoga practice, as well as the physical practice itself.

Begin is ideal for anyone who is new to yoga or for anyone who has had some experience but now wants to take the next steps and expand their practice with the guidance of a VIKASA trained yoga practitioner.

The program will also focus on the techniques and teachings of authentic yoga asana, pranayama, and meditation.

When you think of yoga, many people only visualise the yoga poses. This program is much more than that. It incorporates all the elements of yoga so that you gain a strong foundation to practice yoga on the mat, and introduce the lessons of yoga into your everyday life for greater holistic wellbeing.
