The Chairman of the Sustainable Tourism Development Foundation, stated that this project is to combat, “the problem of traffic congestion and the problem of insufficient parking in Phuket Town.” Furthermore, this project will use EV buses to reduce the amount of carbon

dioxide emissions in Phuket. The Chairman hopes that this new bus line will allow tourists and locals to make the decision to use public transport, especially an energy efficient one.
